Kristen Stewart at the LA premiere of Snow White and the Huntsman, May 29th
I’m really into KStew’s whole look here. I love button up shirts with a well tailored blazer, and her hair looks really pretty.

Do you think we should adopt this? It’s Dr Love endorsed after all! Isn’t Adam awesome?
When it comes to photography (still and cinematic), I subscribe to the “less is more” philosophy, particularly with regards to lighting. I shot this using natural light (both the setting sun daylight as filtered through the window behind me, as well as the indoor tungsten, although the former supersedes the latter in this shot). Nothing irks me more than seeing an image that is Photoshopped to death; it’s actually a pet peeve of mine. I prefer raw and real, even if it isn’t as pretty or polished. This is a completely unaltered (save the obligatory copyright tag) screencap from 24fps footage that I filmed. I like the orange hues juxtaposed with the obscured half of her face. A commercial photographer or studio DP would have added a bounce to the right to add a highlight, and fill in the shadow cast by her sweater on the left, or maybe even tone down the natural orange, but I quite like it as is. The only downside to shooting this way is that you have about 5 mins (10 mins tops), to capture the shots you want, especially at sunset, so you’re taking a bit of a risk, and from a practical standpoint, you can’t employ this method for every shot. But when it works, you come up with a warm image that you can count as a favorite, and this is certainly one of mine.
Word.
